Fire Extinguisher Training (2 Hours)
Training conducted on your premises (subject to risk assessment) or at our training venue.
Contains a mix of classroom theory and practical - staff use extinguishers and blankets on either real fire or role play scenarios.
Fire Marshal Training (Half Day)
Training a Fire Marshal / Warden for your organisation, ensuring there is a qualified individual on site at all times.
What is a Fire Marshal?
A Fire Marshal (also known as a Fire Warden) plays a crucial role in maintaining fire safety within business environment. In the UK, a Fire Marshal is a designated individual responsible for ensuring that fire safety procedures are followed, and everyone knows how to act in case of a fire emergency.
Fire Marshal Responsibilities Include:

Conducting regular fire drills and ensuring everyone knows the evacuation routes.

Checking that fire exits and escape routes are clear and accessible.

Ensuring fire safety equipment, like extinguishers and alarms, are maintained and functional.

Assisting in the safe evacuation of employees and visitors during an emergency.

Reporting any fire hazards or safety concerns to management.
Having trained Fire Marshals is not only a legal requirement in many UK businesses but also a vital part of protecting your employees and premises from the risk of fire.
Emergency First Aid Training
(One Day)
The course aims to teach delegates basic aspects of dealing with emergencies, with an emphasis on handling 'life threatening' situations in the workplace. This course is also known as the 'appointed persons' first aid course.
The course looks at a broad range of areas with an underlying emphasis on basic life support, the importance of preventing cross-infection, the need for recording incidents and actions and use of available equipment.
Candidates will learn how to assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency whilst administering first aid to a casualty who is:
Unconscious (including seizure)
Choking, wounded or bleeding
Suffering from shock
Also provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries and undertake effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
First Aid At Work Training Course
(Full Course - 3 Days)
The course aims to train employees up to the Health and Safety Executive approved standard for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
The course is more in depth and covers everything from the Emergency First Aid course plus:
Causes of unconsciousness (and how to deal with them)
Different sorts of breathing difficulties (such as asthma
Other illnesses and disorders that might be encountered (stroke, epilepsy, diabetes
More major injuries to bones, muscles, joins and suspected spinal injuries
Burns, scalds, poisoning, anaphylaxis shock
On successful completion candidates will be able to act as your designated first aider.
